Do I need storytelling experience to participate?
Absolutely not! We welcome participants from all walks of life. :-)
This is not a performance-based programme. At its heart, the project is about people and their stories.
There will be no pressure to share; and all workshops will be guided by experienced facilitators to ensure an inclusive, welcoming space to encourage dialogue and participation. We’re interested in your lived experience. Throughout the programme there will be gradual opportunities to share. This is an opportunity to listen as well as tell. A space for curiosity, connection and community.
Note on accessibility:
We intend to keep off-site visits along public transport routes to keep workshops as accessible as possible. In the event that a trip is further afield, the team will organise and cover transportation costs.
If you/anyone you know is interested and has a specific barrier to accessibility, we are more than happy to hear from you and discuss how we might support your attendance/participation in the programme.
